Local Residential Moves are charged by hourly rates. These rates are dependent on the number of movers working on the job.

• Studio Apartments to a Small size 2 bedroom Apartments may require help of 2 movers and 1 truck.
• 2 bedroom Apartments to Small size 4 bedroom homes may require help of 3 movers and 1 truck.
• Large 4 bedroom homes and larger households may require help of 5 movers and 2 trucks.

The assigned teams may vary depending on your particular circumstances. There are many factors that may require extra help and extra hours for a move. To avoid misunderstandings and surprises we encourage our customers to have an on site estimate.

Long Distance Residential moves are charged by the size (weight) of the shipment and the distance of the relocation. The moving truck is weighed prior to being loaded and right after, the difference is the pay load. The tariff is then applied to determine transportation cost.

To get the most accurate estimate ask for an on site estimate. This is the only way to get a "not to exceed" quote also called a binding estimate. This guarantees the cost of the relocation.

Our movers will tag and inventory every item to be relocated. The condition will be described on the same form and the customer with mover will sign it at both locations. During unload, our movers will check off all items again, to make sure nothing is missing and there is no new damages or scratches. And if there are any - they will be registered in the same form and this form will be later attached to a claim.

The estimator will take a detailed inventory of all items being relocated. Determining the exact size of the shipment is extremely important. This will help determining the right size truck or in some cases trucks for the job. Especially in cases where the customer is not moving just a few miles away. Avoiding possible multiple trips, which go late into the night or spill out into multiple days of moving and extra hundreds of dollars in costs.
